Christianity Explored: Find out more
Join us over seven evenings to explore what it means to know Jesus together. We’ll walk through one of the books of the Bible called “Mark” together, in a friendly and informal setting.
We’ll start with a hot meal together at 7pm, and aim to be finished by 9pm – although you’ll be welcome to stay back to ask our course leaders more questions if you’d like to.
You will be able to ask your questions, and choose how much you want to get involved in the discussions. We won’t ask you to pray or sing or read aloud or anything like that.
Because of catering, it would be very helpful if you could let us know you’re planning to join us (click to fill in the sign up form). But… if you’ve forgotten to say, or decided at the last minute, please come anyway as we will still fit you in!
Schedule
All meetings are on Thursday evenings, starting at 7pm with a hot meal – the discussion then starts at 7:30pm. The Venue is the Mustard Seed Church (Callington). Meetings are held downstairs (take the step-free path to the left of the church). Exact dates subject to change (to be reconfirmed nearer the time).

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’m not sure I want to commit to all the weeks?
That’s okay! Come for the first session, then decide whether you’d like to come back for the rest. We won’t spam you with reminders if you decide it’s not for you.
What if I have to miss a session?
That’s not a problem at all, we know that your schedule can be busy. You’ll have a participants booklet so you can see the things you miss, and if you’d like them to, your course leaders will be happy to help you catch up.
What if I don’t have a Bible?
We will give you everything you need, including the text of Mark’s gospel, which is the part of the Bible we will be looking at. If you’d like a full Bible just ask as we have some to give away too.
Can you cater for my dietary requirements?
Please let us know in the sign up form under ‘dietary requirements’. If we’re not sure if we can cater for you we will let you know ASAP.
Are there any costs to attend?
There are no charges or fees for this course. If you feel you wish to do so, donations towards our costs are welcome, however they are not at all expected.
